A really characterful traditional pub set in a beautiful village in the heart of the Dales. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, and the food was well cooked with a varied menu. we had a lovely stay at game cock inn! the building is beautiful, and it’s situated perfectly for walks, especially if you're tackling the three yorkshire peaks. our room was very clean and comfortable. the manager went above and beyond to provide us with fresh croissants and pain au chocolat, which were delightful!
